The Purpose

Warner Bros. asked Toi to create micro-sites for an older classic, Twister (with Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt) and a newer cult hit Botched (with Stephen Dorff). The sites needed to be high impact with animation that would showcase the HD quality and top notch production value of the Warner Video Properties.

THE PROCESS AND END RESULT

For each site, Toi was in charge of concepting and developing the entire site, its copy and all functionality. The Toi team worked with Warner Bros' creative guidelines to develop a site that would not only look great but would fit in to the greater marketing strategy for the re-release of the Blu-Ray distribution version.

In order to showcase the cinema-like experience of the high definition releases, each section of the site required effects and details which demonstrated elements of the movie while enhancing the user experience. The Toi team scripted and storyboarded the unique and innovative motion experience which helped increase direct sales through the web and in stores. The purchase flow process utilized the WB store to exceed standard home release numbers.
